Stealin' Blue Minis is a mini Australian Shepherd breeder from Southwestern Colorado. In the Mancos Valley, on a beautiful ranch in full view of the mountain range, the sounds of fun-loving mini Aussies can be heard as they play and learn. Stealin' Blue Minis prides itself on small litters who are raised as part of our family. All dams, sires, and puppies are well cared for and snuggled until they leave for their forever homes. We take their socialization seriously too, ensuring they encounter a variety of humans, animals, and situations in which they can gain exposure and learn bravery.

We have numerous pups living their best lives in the Denver Metro area, including the City of Denver and Arvada, Aurora, Cherry Creek, Castle Rock, Centennial, Colorado Springs, Lakewood, Thornton, Westminster, and more.

We offer delivery for our mini Aussies to Denver and Northern Colorado. We are happy to take puppies on their first road trips to join their new families!

THE PERFECT denver DOG

Miniature Australian Shepherds are great dogs for Denver. They’re small enough to be able to make their home in any sized dwelling. They’re not super inclined to bark or be aggressive, making them easy dogs for apartment and condo complexes. Their exuberant personalities make for delightful evening strolls on Denver streets, while their ability to be calm when their owner is in sight makes them excellent companions at breweries and on patios. And our Mini Australian Shepherds give you the best excuse to enjoy one of Denver’s many parks.

Aussies love to play fetch, walk and run, hike, camp, and go to the lakes and mountains surrounding Denver. Some Stealin’ Blue Mini Aussies have even been known to ride in a motorcycle side car, enjoy stand up paddle boarding, and hang out at the ski slopes. Aussies are a great fit for the active Denver lifestyle.

Some new Mini Aussie owners worry that the hot summers of Denver are too warm for their pups. Luckily, two-layer (under and outer) weather resistant coats of Australian Shepherds can actually keep them cool in hot weather, though you'll want to be careful not to let them burn their paws on hot pavement and supply them with plenty of water.

Owners of Mini and Toy Australian Shepherds should make sure their puppies are socialized and exposed to as many new situations as possible to avoid the dogs being skittish as adults. At the ranch, Stealin' Blue Minis puppies learn from an extensive list of toys including balls, tug of war toys, and a puppy tunnel - most pups' favorite! We are serious about building a foundation for our puppies to ensure a life of happiness, confidence, and trust with their forever families.
